Abstract

In this paper, we present the results of an analysis performed on student profiles relating to their time management during an online course. Failure to manage time appropriately, procrastinating or overnighting, has effects on academic success. This is illustrated by the interaction between data collected during moments of reflection and self-assessment of a first-year university student population with their final score. The data was collected using different questionnaires distributed at the beginning of the course, and at the end of each of the four modules that comprise the course. To embrace an online course that has no set schedule, unlike other courses, requires the student to find new strategies to perform the required tasks ... and succeed!
