Education monitoring tools
Abstract
Among the pressing questions that today provide impetus for research into the development of ITCs in education is essentially that of the description and search for relevant educational resources through digital information networks. Indeed, students and teachers alike have generally reached the point where the quantitative aspect of network resources has a counterpart in the qualitative poverty of data interpretation and treatment. The concept of “education watch” described in this text supplies one answer to this question. The research tools, both existing and in development, presented here primarily focus on searching for dynamic information linked to the knowledge formulated in an interactive taxonomic structure.
